NGH NHS Trust opening times for Blood taking unit and Paediatrics


 



From Tuesday the 31st of March there are changes to the Blood Taking Unit at NGH. In order to keep patients safe at this time we are redirecting parts of this service to The Three Shires Hospital.


 


If you require a blood test you will need to contact the hospital to make an appointment on these numbers:

Three Shires will offer appointments Monday to Friday during the following times:


 


Monday -Friday 9am - 12:30pm and  13:30pm - 17:00pm


 


If you are a patient of our Maternity Unit they will make arrangements for you to have your bloods taken and you do not need to attend the Three Shires.


 


If your child requires a blood test the Blood Taking Unit t NGH will be open on Mondays from 10am-11am for paediatric patients only.

Disabled Access, Hearing, and Language Needs

Patients with particular needs
 
Our purpose built premises are designed with access for all in mind; slopes and a lift ensure access for those with disabilities.  We also have two parking spaces outside the front door which are reserved for patients displaying a disabled sticker.
 
A hearing loop system is located at reception, with a portable loop available for clinic rooms.  We can arrange interpretation and translation services in person or by phone for patients who do not speak English.  Please let us know if you need any of these services when booking an appointment.
 
In addition to English, our doctors (subject to availability) are able to consult in the following languages: Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
